Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon or just need a weekend getaway, the Cottage Inn is your home away from home. Our guests become our friends as we like to get to know them on a first-name basis, and our friends are always welcome. We do allow children to stay with us, but they must be at least 10 years of age during thier time of visit.
Meet our Innkeeper, Melissa Wickson! Some of you may know her as "Wixie" from Wixie Harrington or from preforming with Magic Bus!
Melissa has been with us since the summer of 2021. We are delighted that she chose the Cottage Inn + Mackinac Island to be her home. She has brought fresh ideas + so much more to the Inn with her amazing personality. Melissa enjoys having coffee on the porch while watching the horses go by + having conversations with guests, Island residents + friends as they stroll by. We must mention everyone has been raving about her baking as well! We hope you will be our guest + have the great opportunity to have her as your Innkeeper!
Meet our Head of Housekeeping and Front Desk Associate, Kenesha Moore! Kenesha has been with us for many years and we are beyond grateful to have her. Over the years she has been able to create so many long lasting relationships with our returning guests. Originally from the Bronx, Kenesha’s upbeat, friendly, and positive attitude is the perfect fit for the Cottage Inn of Mackinac.
